Import Flash file into Fireworks

Hi,

I've created a button in flash and want to export and manipulate it in fireworks.?I've been searching online about how to do this, but all I find is information about how to import fireworks files into flash and that is not what I need.?Could you tell me if and how you can do this?

Unfortunately, your out of luck.

Fw, and other applications, for that matter, does not handle .fla/.swf files in that manner.

As your search yielded, Flash is better suited to handle native Fw files/artwork as library assets.
