I have a site I created
(http://www.toplankanews.com) that is using a Joomla template. I want to redesign the template but was wondering which product Photoshop or Illustrator is best for creating Joomla templates. Any advice is much appreciated!
Product help Photoshop vs Illustratorusually Photoshop is better but if you know more about Illustrator then you can also use that. Note though that you shouldn't use strokes in Illustrator as they look horrible on the web
Product help Photoshop vs IllustratorUse Adobe Fireworks or the free GIMP. Either or will do just great for web theme creation. Photoshop is way overkill and you'll spend more time learning how to use it then in being productive. Adobe Fireworks is made for the creation of web graphics and has excellent bitmap and vector support.
