If an image is placed to the frame, fitted to it, file saved. When I open it again, is there the way to restore the original size of the image?

How to restore original size of placed...Click on the image with teh white selector/pointer and set the image size to 100%
How to restore original size of placed...By which Simon means change the values in the scaling fields of the Control panel or Transform panel to 100%.
You'll also almost certainly need to do something with the frame, like ''Fit frame to content'' or at least select it with the regular selection tool and adjust the cropping.

Thank you very much! I did not realize I have to select the image directly, was trying to do 100% with all object selected (with ''move'' tool). Sorry, it's not good working after midnight - and bother people with stupid questions!
